Anime fans spend a lot of time debating which anime heroes could defeat whom, and Goku is always central to that debate. His popularity and sheer feats of power make him an easy target for comparisons, and fans often like to argue over whether their favorite anime heroes could actually defeat the infamous Super Saiyan in a battle.

In assessing the possibility of an anime universe defeating Goku, several factors come into play. Things such as their greatest displays of power, the nature of their abilities, and their capacity for working together all have to come into play. Even with all those factors considered, Goku can still take down some of the most popular anime universes single-handedly.
10 Naruto's Only Chance Is The Uchiha Clan

The introduction of the Otsutsuki clan at the end of Shippuden provided the Naruto universe with the kind of interstellar threat that the Z Fighters have been facing for years in Dragon Ball. While the power of Kaguya and her clan mates proves promising, they are inevitably the kind of enemy Goku has defeated many times before.
Being that in terms of strength and speed Naruto's shinobi are still far behind Goku, the Naruto-verse's best bet against Goku would be through using genjutsu such as the Uchiha clan's sharingan. Still, despite the fact that Goku is often simple-minded when it comes to battle, he has an incredibly high combat IQ which shouldn't be taken lightly.
9 The Spirit Society Is Nothing New For Goku

In terms of raw power, Bleach's universe can provide a more sufficient fight to Goku than most. At first sight, swords have little impact on Goku, as he was able to take direct hits from axes and bullets when he was still a child. However, bankai such as Yamamoto's Zenkai no Tachi which causes the flames around him to burn at 15,000,000 degrees could be somewhat comparable to Goku Black's hand sword.

The most tangible match for Goku would be Yhwach who could use powers such as his ability to see the future in order to possibly gain the upper hand. However, Goku was able to avoid Hit's Time Freeze ability by forcing his way into the future, meaning that he may even be able to override time itself.
8 Goku Already Defeated Someone Like Meruem Once Before

While Meruem and the chimera ants could possibly provide a challenge for Goku, he would inevitably be too strong for them. In fact, Meruem's creation was inspired by Cell from Dragon Ball Z, which makes sense when looking at his overall appearance and abilities.
In the end, just as Gohan was able to defeat Cell, Goku would be able to destroy Meruem down to the atomic level. It would be interesting to see how Gon and Killua's powers developed when they were older, especially given Gon's adult form, but at their current age, they'd stand little chance.
7 Mob Is Only Still A Kid

While Mob has been presented as the kind of character that has a seemingly infinite well of untapped potential, he has nonetheless shown his limits in using up his energy in a fight against Dimple. Mob is only a kid at the end of the day, and he doesn't have the combat prowess or desire to fight that Goku does.
With some years of growth and training, Mob's power could grow exponentially. As it currently stands though, Mob — or anyone in his series for that matter — wouldn't be able to face Goku seriously in a fight. Instead, Mob could benefit from learning a thing or two from Goku: the Spirit Bomb is a technique that would be a great fit for someone like Mob who's pure in heart.
6 Luffy's Potential Seems Limitless But He's Not There Yet

There are some incredibly awesome Warriors in One Piece that shouldn't be underestimated. For example, Blackbeard's Gura Gura no Mi devil fruit grants him the power to potentially destroy the entire world, a feat that is nothing new to Dragon Ball fans.

In addition, Imu, though having unidentifiable powers of his own, has employed weapons that have destroyed entire countries in moments. This is an incredible show of destructive power, though not something Goku hasn't faced before. In the end, Goku's near God-level strength is just beyond the reach of anyone currently shown in the One Piece universe.
5 Goku Wouldn't Have The Patience To Catch 'Em All

For fans of the adorable Pocket Monster characters, the mere thought of a human being fighting a Pokémon likely just seems wrong. Thankfully, Goku's fight with the Pokémon universe is a purely hypothetical one that fans can rest assured knowing will probably never canonically happen.
While each Pokémon has incredible powers with their own unique strengths and weaknesses, all that goes out the window when facing Goku. Goku would laugh off attacks from even the most powerful Pokémon, though status-inducing moves like Hypnosis or Toxic could actually make the fight quite interesting if the Pokémon are allowed to face him long enough to pull them off.
4 Goku Is The True Quirkless Hero

My Hero Academia's Heroes would provide a sufficient challenge for Goku in many ways, especially if they were all working together. Inevitably though, no hero or villain in the series has the strength or speed to keep up with ultra instinct Goku.
A big disadvantage for MHA would be that Goku's own power isn't a Quirk, meaning that characters like All For One couldn't steal his power, and Eraserhead couldn't nullify Goku's strength. The incredible physical prowess of One For All wouldn't even be a match for Goku's pure physical power in his base form, and Goku's Super Saiyan Blue is far less taxing on his body than One For All.
3 The Slayers Have Yet To Face An Extraterrestrial Threat

The slayers and the demons that they're trained to face are undoubtedly able to pull off incredible feats of pure strength and power. Unfortunately, it's just not at the same scale as Goku's. However, the ability of some demons to influence the minds of humans and damage their psyche is one of the few possible afflictions that could affect Goku in a confrontation.

Being that no combination of Muzan's most powerful minions, or even Muzan himself could come anywhere close to Goku's raw strength and speed, it would all come down to psychological warfare via demons such as Enmu from the Mugen Train Arc to try to immobilize Goku long enough for stronger demons to attempt to hurt him.
2 Denji's Chainsaws Could Never Touch Ultra Instinct Goku

While the Gun Devil was able to wipe out an entire city in seconds, Goku could one-up that several times. Being that Frieza was able to destroy entire planets long before the events of Dragon Ball Z, and Goku is several times more powerful than Frieza was at that point, it stands to reason that Goku could far exceed the destruction of a city.
Makima's power could potentially cause problems for Goku due to her ability to attack from afar. Additionally, her control powers could provide an issue for him, though characters have been shown to break free from it before. In short, there isn't a Devil in the Chainsaw Man universe that could defeat Goku.
1 The Jujutsu Sorcerers Should Just Recruit Goku

As the strongest jujutsu sorcerer, Gojo would be the first threat Goku would have to face. Gojo's Infinite Void is an incredible move that could more than likely incapacitate Goku for an extended period.
However, if Goku manages to break free from that psychological mind control there wouldn't be anyone in Jujutsu Kaisen's universe that could come close to his pure physical strength and speed. It would probably be better for the jujutsu sorcerers to get Goku on their side because — given his own experience with death — he would definitely be the greatest exorcist their world has ever seen.
