The Galileo Open Air Cinema is back from October 2023 to April 2024. Screening a variety of new, family favourites and cult classic films at some of Cape Town’s most magnificent venues.

Arrive hungry and enjoy a pre-movie picnic from our magnificent mini-market. Mouth-watering pizzas, juicy burgers, tasty wraps, delicious popcorn and other yummy snacks will be on offer. Vegetarian and Halal options are also available. With gourmet coffee, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages sold at all venues, there is nothing to prepare for in advance except your taste buds.

Cancelled / Postponed / Rescheduled shows
- Registered Webtickets account holders will receive email and SMS notifications in case of show cancellations, postponements, or venue changes, among other reasons.
- Light drizzle and tolerable wind will not cancel the event, so please come prepared.
- If a movie is cancelled the day before or on the day of the event before doors open, we will inform the registered Webtickets account holder via email ([emailprotected]) and SMS. Communication will be sent to the email address and cell phone number used to make the Webtickets booking. You will then have the option of choosing another movie on another date valid for the same season (ends April 2024) or receive a refund. Please note that no exchanges/refunds will be given after 7 days from the cancellation date for any reason whatsoever.
- If a movie is cancelled after the doors have opened, you will have the option of choosing another movie on another date valid for the same season (ends April 2024) or receive a refund. If a movie has played for longer than half its length and we are forced to cancel, no exchanges will be given.
- The registered Webtickets account holder will receive an email the following working day with instructions in this regard.
