It's a drum I have been beating consistently for over 15 years (to be fair, probably since I graduated with a First-Class Honours Arts degree dare I say it, last millenium when the old 'Would you like fries with that?' jokes abounded) but one that needs to be beat.There are no skills/dispositions more necessary for our future than critical reasoning, flexible mindsets, solutions-focused creative ideation and genuine empathy for all.All of these are found in spades in Humanities, Creative Arts and Liberal Arts degrees.The world's top organisations are hiring candidates with the attributes above, and then providing them with the requisite technical training to meet the organisational need.
